Another Kitty Cat

Another little order for my Kitty Cat fulfilled. This is the first one I have made with little stripes. I was asked to make a more ginger looking cat and this is how the little cat turned out.

More softies in little packets

Here's a couple more of my softies; a Tweeter Bird and a Deep Sewn Fish.
I am hoping to sell these in individual packets. If multiples or special buys are purchased of these softies then they will come in their own bird box or fish box (as previous posts show), otherwise I think these little packets could work!

Embroidery hoop designs

I recently had a go at creating some of my softie designs, sewn on to embroidery hoops.
Here's two of them that I have given to friends as Christmas presents.

Peg dolls in shadow boxes

I have been wanting to create little house boxes for some fairytale peg dolls. This is my first attempt at creating one. Still got to decorate the outside and finish it all off, but it's a start!
I am wanting to create Goldilocks in the three bears house, the chronicles of Narnia wardrobe and Little red riding hood visiting the wolf at her grandmas house. Hoping to get on and create those this year.

A softie version

This is a handmade softie version I have sewn, of one of my book characters, to be published
next year by Collins. It's a little goat, wearing a red coat!

My handmade Secret Santa present

I like to make my Secret Santa presents and this year I created a cat –
for a work mate who loves cats!

The Catto Gallery, London

Had a lovely time at the Catto Gallery in London today.
It was the private view for the 'Stars on Canvas' exhibition. I was invited to create a canvas for auction for The Willow Foundation charity. A great cause. With the money they raise, they offer seriously ill 16-40 year olds special days out or experiences.
It was great to see my canvas on the wall along with lots of other fab artists and also some great stars.
It was lovely to be invited to the private view and a few celebrities that had created artwork also turned up; Ricky Gervais, Ian Wright, Vanessa Feltz and The Honey Monster!
Above are a few piccies from the event.

Bidding for my canvas ends on Sunday. Click here to get bidding! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=180592246915&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESC%3AIT The
money will go to The Willow Foundation. This charity creates special
days out and experiences for seriously ill 16-40 year olds.
